Northpointe Polo Farm was founded in 2019 by Kate Dougherty, a former 3-Day Eventing rider, after discovering polo on a trip to Argentina. Inspired by the culture that produces some of the finest polo in the world, what started as a passion for riding and horsemanship has grown into a full-service polo operation rooted in hard work, thoughtful care, and a love for the sport.

We specialize in creating an environment where both horses and players can thrive. Our approach blends the Argentine traditions with classical American horsemanship to meet the practical demands of the modern game. Each horse in our program is given individualized attention, consistent training, and the highest standard of care. We also take pride in offering quality, hands-on instruction tailored to each rider. Our teaching reflects the same principles we apply to our horses: clarity, consistency, and a focus on real improvement.
